THE STORY OF MACKIE ENTERTAINMENT AND LIVE NOW DIE LATER

Hey Guys and Girls, we're mackie entertainment and Live Now Die Later ! We are an Alternate Rock Metal and blues radio show that works fully in the rules of 1966 radio were they is no rules just one sex drugs and rock and roll and this time with out the Drugs we are a radio and production voluntary working company from the Yorkshire town of halifax with roots going into Huddersfield,Beverley,Bridlington,Doncaster,whitby,Scarborough,Hull

We formed through meeting at Sunday Foot Ball in 1999 Mackie was playing for a local team named Falcon Pine FC that was named after a local PUB and is a Pine shop in Yorkshire Jamie was not on the seen at this point in time but Mackie or as we call him Mr Red card was (HAHA) in around 2002 Mackie stopped playing Sunday football because of health on this legs and to stop his family Jamie and Zara and Little new born Baby Natalie.

In 2004 Jamie joined a local radio station not knowing that Bob,Tee,Rags played local football with his Dad Mackie and use not knowing Jamie was Mackies Son till later on.

STORY ABOUT LIVE NOW DIE LATER

as we were all fans of Rock metal and Blues music and Jamie was a media student at Kirklees College Jamie started a radio show for Young youths that was mental health illnesses and problems the law most of them was teenagers that was in care and had Anxiety & Panic Disorders.Bipolar Disorder,Depression,Eating Disorders, Schizophrenia and needed care and support the youth show was aired every Monday night 6 till 8 Jamie left doing the Youth show after 3 years of starting and getting the show going and moved to do doing a Prog rock radio show that went by two named Prog yes and Prog Zone that he was the DJ for till after 5 years than Jamie went on to doing Let there be rock than millions more radio shows that he stared and started.

In 2014 Jamie was doing 40 radio shows a week on a local radio station and was not getting a penny for doing them.

In 2014 Jamie joined University and did his teaching degree left the station from having problems with the management of the station.

Mackie entertainment started in 2015 A lot of people ask us how the production came about after Live Now Die Later, it's a fairly simple story really, but here you go.

It was 2015 and myself and Mackie were drinking red wine after being at the football all day.

Mackie is a BTEC Level 5 HND Diploma in construction and the built environment and Furniture manufacture level 3 Diploma

in Joinery and cabinet making Mackie was telling me that he had nothing to do around the house only looking after Jamie and Zara and Natalie but its seemed to me that Mackie was helping Jamie a lot doing the radio show . Mackie was driving Jamie around to festivals gigs and more

We were both looking for something Mackie can do to change his lifestyle from been sat at home watching TV and helping Jamie with health and care Mackie had been in sales of Joinery for 30 years not butting his skills to use and not been able to do a lot of joinery jobs because of health and care of Jamie before, I got to a ponit of asking mackie what he would like to do he had told me he was sick to death of the M1, M25, M4 and given up As a short term fix.

Mackie and Jamie had already gone a little way down the road of looking to start a festival and had looked at a few sites and had Zombie Nights music festival going in the USA.

So as we opened our third bottle of red Jamie suggested that maybe we should do something together as Dad and Son, it was soon decided that a production side of the Live Now Die Later radio show was needed and wouldn't support both of us and others had already done the idea of putting a Radio show and production area but that wasn't really for us. So as the wine took hold, the thought of putting a magazine together and radio show and production areaand took place.

The following morning when the wine had worn off, it still seemed like a good idea and so Mackie entertainment was formed.
